Coming from a working class background, I’ve always had a chip on my shoulder.

I’ve always wanted to create that better life for myself and my family and strived for great success.

At the age of 23 I decided (with my business partner) to start my first business. I stuck to what I know and started a roofing business in which we are still running today.

4 years down the line, we came up with the idea for City Luggage Storage. 

City luggage Storage are the only purpose built, storage lockers in Edinburgh. We store our clients most precious and personal items in lock and key lockers that are under 24/7 surveillance.

We are a luggage storage facility based in Edinburgh. Our clients will visit our shop and rent out our lockers for a day whilst they explore the city. Facilities like this are already in place across Europe and have been very successful. We will be the first of its kind in Edinburgh, one of the most visited cities in the world.

Our goal is to be a part of the Edinburgh tourism scene, leaving our clients with a feeling of trust, not only for our services, but Edinburgh on the whole. An extra addition to what would already be an excellent city break. We will be starting with one shop based just round the corner from Edinburgh’s grass market, a top destination for tourist. We have 50 lockers in total on order to set up in our new shop bringing in £600 per day at full capacity. As our brand grows, we intend to add an extra 50 lockers by summer 2023 making £1,200 per day at full capacity.

With the growth of our business, we intend to open 3 shops in total, spread around Edinburgh. We have calculated that with 3 shops, we will never be more than a 5-minute walk from Edinburgh’s top tourist destinations and hotels.

Our business model is very simple. We have web designers currently creating a user-friendly website with an online booking system. Our clients can either make a booking online, or in shop. Once this booking is made and paid for, the client will be issued a key for one of our lockers to store their belongings. They may return as many times as they like between our opening hours, which will be 8am-9pm, every day of the week.

We will be using investor funding to open up our second and third shop across edinburgh, completely saturating the edinburgh market and locking out any competitors.

We intend to take our business across the entire UK and over seas, in the likes of Dublin, Amsterdam and London and become a brand trusted all over the world.
